Female Futures Fair

Date: Fri 26th April 2019 Time: 02:00pm | Queen Mary's School

Friday 26 April, 14:00 - 17:00

Queen Mary’s School is delighted to host a careers’ event, with a twist! Rather than being talked at by a series of ‘experts’, at the Female Futures Fair you will hear the unique stories from women of different ages, hailing from an array of professions, who can draw on personal experiences of their careers including the path they chose and the twists, turns and challenges along the way.

In this increasingly complex world of work, the Female Futures Fair aims to inspire girls and help them plan for a successful future in the working environment whichever path they may wish to take. Primarily aimed at girls from Year 6 to Year 11, parents are invited to attend with their daughters.

Keynote speakers will include Wendy Loretto, Dean of the University of Edinburgh Business School and Space Scientist Suzie Imber.

Other inspirational speakers and exhibitors from many scientific and artistic fields from law, financial services and medicine to broadcasting, global marketing and more will be there and there will be a chance to ask questions and network.
