Her Voice is an inspiring one-day conference designed especially for girls in Year 5, focused on finding their voice, building confidence, leadership skills, and self-belief.
Through fun, interactive workshops and empowering activities, girls will explore their unique strengths, uncover inner confidence, and learn how to advocate for themselves—all in a supportive and encouraging environment.

One Day. Five Workshops. A Lifetime of Leadership.
Among the headline sessions is Own Your Superpowers: A Strengths Insights Quiz, led by Hazel Davis, Yorkshire Editor for Muddy Stilettos. Through an engaging strengths-based workshop, girls will explore what makes them unique and discover how understanding their personal strengths can help them thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
In Poetry, Power & Confidence: Creating Your Own Guide to Being Crazy Awesome & Unstoppable, Yorkshire poet Olivia Mulligan will encourage girls to use creativity and self-expression to explore confidence, identity and personal ambition, creating their own inspiring guide to becoming their very best selves.
Meanwhile, Girls Who Engineer: A Teambuilding STEM Egg Drop Challenge will see girls work together to tackle a hands-on engineering challenge led by Yorkshire entrepreneur and Chartered Building Surveyor Georgina Harvey. Combining creativity, problem-solving and teamwork, the workshop aims to showcase the exciting opportunities available within STEM careers while demonstrating the value of collaboration and resilience.
What To Bring
Come dressed in comfy, casual clothes—you’ll be moving around and spending time both indoors and out. Just bring a water bottle, and you’re good to go!
