Why Choose Queen Mary’s
School?
Happiness and Stability
Your child will be welcomed into what feels like a big happy family, living in a family home with individual support and pastoral care. This care also extends to parents, whether you are a day parent looking for wraparound care and opportunities to meet other families or a boarding parent posted overseas looking for excellent communication and opportunities to see your daughter when returning from deployment.
Excellence and Opportunities Everywhere
Our boarders live in the heart of the school with friends in a ‘home from home’, supportive, busy and happy environment which is a great way to stimulate their minds academically, maximise time to spend on their passions and encourage long-lasting friendships. Queen Mary’s pupils achieve excellent academic results, have received national awards in Music, Sport and Riding and get involved in everything from the Annual Charity Fashion Show to the UK Youth Parliament.
An Adventurous Education
Queen Mary’s pupils are known for doing some very adventurous things. Outdoor Education including onsite canoeing, climbing, clay pigeon shooting, river swimming, building dens, pheasant plucking, WOLF runs and overnight camps allow our pupils to face and overcome physical challenges in a safe and supportive environment, learning skills that will serve them well throughout life, both personally and professionally.
