Caroline Hill-Trevor – Publisher
After Queen Mary’s, Tudor Hall and Durham University (Modern History), Caroline has worked in publishing with a focus on children’s books for her entire career. Starting as Editorial Assistant at Heinemann Young Books where she wrote Fireman Sam books, she has gained wide experience from a variety of roles, including 13 years at Scholastic Children’s Books as Rights and Contracts Director; as a freelance translation rights agent working with small publishers and authors’ agents; and currently as Head of Book Selection and Purchasing at BookTrust, the UK’s biggest reading charity.
Caroline is a mentor with The Society of Young Publishers and has a particular interest in helping people starting out in their careers bringing people with a wide range of skillsets into publishing and the book world.
Lydia Garratt – Investment Manager
Lydia started on the Evelyn Partners graduate programme in 2018, joining the Charities team in December 2019. She studied Politics at Durham University and holds the CISI Chartered Wealth Masters qualification. Prior to Evelyn Partners, Lydia worked in sales at a tech start-up and as an intern at a media agency. Lydia works alongside a team of three other investment managers with the core responsibilities of managing clients’ portfolios, relationships and investment decisions. Alongside this she is the lead analyst for the firm’s Global Small & Mid Cap funds, and an analyst on the Metals & Mining equities team. Lydia is an active member of the firm’s Women’s Network and sits on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee as a member of the Social Mobility sub-group.
Outside work Lydia volunteers as a mentor for the Girls’ Network charity and plays netball in a London league.
Haani Ul Hasnain – Entrepreneur and Business Advisor
Haani is CEO and Chief Inspiration Engineer at Harmonised World, Board Governor of Hartlepool College of Further Education, Advisor to Hartlepool Muslim Welfare Association, and advisor to SME Business owners and their teams in 5 countries.
With a Distinction in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University, Haani also studied at Space School in Moscow.
He now dedicates his time between learning, sharing, and investing in people, communities and organisations through Harmonised World.

Rachel McDonald – Programme Manager Maternal Mental Health Service
Rachel a former Purchasing Manager, Communications Officer and Local County Councillor relishes the opportunity to solve complex problems and drive positive change. Her role as an NHS Manager empowers her to work with a wide range of colleagues and service users across the North East and North Cumbria. Her work is focused on ensuring that patients, the public and staff are at the very heart of decision making.
