Christian Faith School, Queen Mary’s, Enjoys Another Fantastic Harvest Festival
A Beautiful Celebration of the 2025 Harvest at Christian school, Queen Mary’s in Yorkshire
Prep and Pre-Prep School Harvest Festival 2025 in Queen Mary’s School Chapel
The Pre-Prep and Prep School came together to create and perform a wonderful Harvest Festival Service, bringing the whole school community into a joyful celebration of gratitude and sharing. The event, held in the school’s chapel, showcased the enthusiasm and creativity of the pupils as they prepared songs, readings, and reflections centred on the importance of harvest time.

Led by Reverend Susanne Jukes, the service offered a warm and thoughtful message about thankfulness and the value of helping others. Her guidance helped the children understand the deeper meaning behind the harvest season, encouraging them to reflect on where our food comes from and the significance of giving back. The pupils’ heartfelt performances and contributions made the occasion both memorable and uplifting for everyone who attended.
Altogether, the Harvest Festival Service was a delightful reminder of the school’s strong sense of community and its commitment to nurturing kindness, gratitude, and awareness in every child.

Traditional Values and Christian Faith at Yorkshire School, Queen Mary’s
At Queen Mary’s School, traditional values and Christian faith form a guiding foundation for daily life, learning, and community. Rooted in a rich heritage, the school emphasises qualities such as respect, integrity, compassion, and responsibility – values that help pupils grow not only academically but also personally and morally. These principles are woven into classroom learning, relationships, and the wider school culture, ensuring that every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to become the best version of themselves.
The Christian ethos of our Woodard School further strengthens this nurturing environment. Through regular chapel services, reflection, prayers, hymns, and opportunities for spiritual exploration, pupils are invited to develop a sense of purpose and an understanding of the world around them. While our school welcomes families of all faiths, its Christian foundation provides a framework of kindness, service, and empathy that shapes the character of the community. Together, traditional values and Christian faith create a warm, grounded atmosphere where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
