Queen Mary’s Service of Nine Lessons and Carols. A joyful and wonderful end to a busy term.
Christmas fun at Queen Mary’s. From the charity Santa Run, in aid of Make a Wish, to Christmas lunch, carols around the Christmas tree and a whole community sing-a-long, we are now ready for Christmas.
Every pupil within the Prep School had their chance to shine in the Let the Bells Ring Out performance and service.
The lovely Community Service team (aka the Sunflower Club) visited Thirsk Community Works Dementia Day Care to spread some Christmas cheer. They decorated yule logs and made pine cone decorations before a rousing chorus of We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Following a busy and successful term, our younger riders had some festive fun at the Equestrian Centre’s Christmas Show.
Queen Mary’s Pre-Prep warmed our hearts this week with a special performance of the Nativity.
Sparkle and Shine for pupils from Reception to Year 9 who went to see Nativity the Musical at the Grand Opera House, York. Our very own Mr Hutchinson performed as Gordon Shakespeare and will be teaching the choreography from the show in school tomorrow from 16:50 – 17:30
