Awe and Wonder Day
Queen Mary’s inaugural Awe and Wonder Day included two inspirational talks from Afghan refugee, Gulwali Passarlay for the older girls and The Journey of Paddington Bear workshops led by Ripon City of Sanctuary for the younger girls. The senior girls then built boats from recycled materials to sail life jackets across the lake. Reverend Graham Wright was also busy leading prayer space workshops and the annual Whole School Pet Service saw ponies, dogs, chickens and even Gavin the Snake and Frank the Fish join in.
