Yorkshire Independent School, Queen Mary’s Welcomes 35 New Pupils Ahead of Open Morning
35 New Girls Start at Queen Mary’s School This September
Queen Mary’s School is celebrating a strong start to the academic year with 35 new pupils joining the school community this term.
Head, Mrs Fe Beadnell, said:
“It’s an exciting time for the girls and for the school, and we’re honoured that so many families are choosing Queen Mary’s to offer their daughters an education rich in opportunities, both in and beyond the classroom.
An all-girls education empowers girls and prepares them for their futures — to be whoever and whatever they want to be. In Queen Mary’s all-girls setting, we nurture confidence, leadership, creativity and character.”
As an all-girls school from Year 3 upwards, leadership and empowerment sit at the heart of Queen Mary’s ethos. From public speaking and pupil-led initiatives to dedicated programmes for adventure and leadership, the school offers a wealth of opportunities for every girl to develop her voice and thrive.
Queen Mary’s continues to see growing interest, and limited places remain in some year groups.
The school’s next Open Morning takes place on Saturday 4 October, where families can tour the school, meet staff and pupils, and experience first-hand the warmth, ambition and energy that define life at Queen Mary’s.
