Outstanding success for Queen Mary’s National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Riding Teams!
Queen Mary’s 70A team riders; Ella K, Peggy A, Sophie L and Tegan F competed against eight teams consisting of 52 riders. The four girls achieved fantastic clear rounds, winning the 70cm County Qualifier for Hickstead. The girls were placed in the top positions winning the class and Best in North Yorkshire.
Queen Mary’s 70B team riders Carys T, Sophie A, Peggy A and Venetia B finished in a fantastic 3rd position overall.
QMS 80A Team riders; Sophie L, Tegan F, Flo P-S and Tilly G had a superb competition coming 1st in North Yorkshire out of 13 teams. Tegan F was thrilled as she garnered further success as she qualified for Hickstead coming 1st as an individual for North Yorkshire.
The 100 Team riders; Fran H, Fay G and Amelie W finished in a fabulous 2nd position for North Yorkshire.
On one of the coldest days of the years, team spirit shone through from all the girls. They were delighted to receive so much admiration for their smart new riding uniform from other team managers and parents; combined with praise for their wonderful success on the day.
