The semi-final against St Peter’s was a tense 1–0 win, with Isabel scoring the decisive goal. In the final, Queen Mary’s faced Ampleforth again in a dramatic rematch. After 24 minutes of full time and five minutes of sudden death, the score remained 0–0, sending the game to shuffles.
Under pressure, Martha, Isabel, Annabel, Tegan, and Daisy scored with remarkable composure, while Bella produced crucial saves in goal. After ten nerve-wracking minutes, Queen Mary’s emerged victorious – remarkably, without conceding a single goal throughout the tournament.
The team’s performance was a perfect display of teamwork, resilience, and defensive discipline. Congratulations to all players and coaches for a well-deserved win!
