Highly Experienced and Qualified Staff
Dedicated staff work with small class sizes allowing them to focus on each individual child with extension and support opportunities throughout the day. We develop a working partnership with parents, through feedback and reporting and every girl has a dedicated tutor. Additionally, wrap-around care ensures flexibility for busy families.

Boarders at Queen Mary’s have a fantastic time at the weekends. Just before half term, they became chefs with Smoothie and Sushi making, relaxed with games on the front field and conquered the thrilling Ghyll Scrambling at Ashgill Force! 🎨💦💪
Events and Educational Trips
These happen constantly throughout the year. From international trips, overnight camps, educational visits to the Life Museum, National Science & Media Museum. Additionally, events include Sports Day, drama productions, visiting speakers and the very popular Pet Service.
Developing your Passions
From Canoeing, Story Writing Club and the Year 4 Orchestra where everyone has a chance to try a string instrument to Brain Busters, Gymnastics and Tennis, there are activities for everyone. Further onsite activities are available including Dance, individual Music Lessons and Riding making it easy to provide you with a full programme of activities in one location.
Our Friendly, Home-from-Home Boarding Community
Full, weekly and flexi boarding allows you to flourish in the rich culture of learning, friendship and extra-curricular activities. What is special about Queen Mary’s is the full integration between boarders and day girls due to the flexibility of boarding. Day girls are welcome to flexi board or just to stay into the evening to make the most of all the opportunities on offer.
