Happily Empowering Girls
This academic year Queen Mary’s celebrates 100 year of all-girls excellence.
A Party In the Park
On 5 May, Queen Mary’s community will come together in the school’s parkland to celebrate our significant milestone. Pupils and guests will reflect on the past 100 years while looking forward to the exciting future ahead. The Party in the Park will showcase the best of Queen Mary’s spirit, featuring a big top, games and activities, dancing, singing, and music. Afternoon tea will also be served, ensuring a day full of fun and celebration.
Commemorative Service, Ripon Cathedral
The next event in Queen Mary’s year of centenary celebrations will be a commemorative service at Ripon Cathedral on 23 May. During the service, a newly commissioned school song, created to mark our milestone year, will be sung for the first time.
Centenary Ball
Thanks to the generous support of our Friends of Queen Mary’s, a Centenary Ball will be held on 5 July, another highlight in our year of centenary celebrations.
