The Queen Mary's Happy Family
You will be welcomed into what feels like a big happy family, living in a family home. Boarders and Day Girls, who can stay into the evening, create a friendly community. A Queen Mary’s education for girls from age 4 - 16 is very special. It encourages friendship across the year groups, earlier leadership opportunities for senior girls and opportunities for peer to peer learning proven to increase academic outcomes.
Respect and Understanding
The school’s welcoming Christian ethos and provision of single-sex education at the right time provides a culture where respect and understanding are built and no judgements are made.
Our beautiful 40 acre setting, complete with the River Swale, lake, woods, fields and gardens, is a safe place where you can learn, play, explore, ride, have adventures and be inspired. The school is conveniently located, being only a few minutes from Ripon, Thirsk and the A1M.
